Metamorphosis

Work hard. Go to work. Earn money. Be disciplined at your office. Don’t be late. Listen to your boss. Don’t make him angry. You have responsibilities, and you can’t run from them.

He did.He worked hard.He earned money.He obeyed his boss.He became the most regular person in his workplace.He never missed a day. And you know what? 

He was never late. 

So what exactly was his work?

Really?
Don’t you know?

It was a 9–5 job.
Isn’t that enough of what he did?

His sister was a very good violinist. Everyone would listen to her and feel peace.
Today, she was playing it too. Her mother was there, listening, and her father was there as well, listening to the calm melody. But where was her brother?

He was upstairs, trying so hard to come downstairs, but he couldn’t.
Her mother fell unconscious. And her father started shouting at him,
“Go away, go away, you disgusting thing!”

He felt heartbroken and said,
“Dad, it’s me! Your only son! Why are you acting like this? Are you angry with me because I couldn’t go to the office? Because I couldn’t make money?

Dad, trust me. I don’t know what happened to me. Is it some kind of sickness? I have four legs and wings, a big, bulky head, and oil all over my body. I smell oily. See? I’m not human anymore. I’ve become a bug!

I have to go to the office today. I know I’m getting late, but there are still ten minutes left. I can make it to work. Dad, help me get ready.
Ahhh, don’t hit me, Dad. Please, it hurts.”

He went to his room, and his father closed the door. His head was bleeding, but no one cared because he was a big bug. A 
disgusting bug.

“Five minutes left. I can still make it to the office. I just have to get ready.”

If you stop producing, who are you still allowed to be?
