Slay the Spire 2 Development Update
Slay the Spire 2 has been making solid progress since its early access launch in March. However, in May, the developer Mega Crit announced that updates would be switched to every two weeks instead of the previously promised weekly updates. Now, as outlined in the game's August newsletter, Mega Crit says they'll be slowing down once again.
This slowdown is not necessarily forever, and the developer is working on new content, including more modes and an alternate Act 2. Additionally, a new character with a bandaged foot is in the works.
New Content and Features
The upcoming updates will bring new modes, including:
- Alternate Act 2
- New character with a bandaged foot
- More challenges and gameplay mechanics
Players can expect these new features to enhance the gameplay experience and provide more variety in the game.
Community Reaction and Expectations
The community is eager to see the new content and features, and some players are speculating about the new character's abilities and playstyle. The slowdown in updates has not dampened the enthusiasm for the game, and fans are looking forward to the new content.
