A bizarre incident occurred in Brisbane when a Toyota Yaris became airborne and got stuck in the side of a council bus. The incident happened at Rocklea in Brisbane’s south on Wednesday evening.

The drama unfolded when the blue Toyota Yaris hit a traffic island and was catapulted into the air before smashing into the side of the bus. The back of the car was left protruding from the bus.

Investigation and Charges

Queensland police have fined the driver of another car that allegedly caused the Yaris to swerve before it hit the kerb and catapulted into the air – and the bus. The police are still investigating the incident and have not released the names of the drivers involved.
