PBS SoCal Dominates L.A. Area Emmy Awards

PBS SoCal, comprising KOCE and KCET, emerged as the big winner at the L.A. Area Emmy Awards, securing eight awards in categories such as live events-programming, entertainment, crime/social issues, and arts.

Univision's KMEX Follows Closely

Univision's KMEX came in second with seven Emmy wins, followed by Telemundo's KVEA with six awards. KVEA once again took home the newscast Emmys for daily daytime (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and evening (7 p.m. to 11:35 p.m.) categories.

KABC also secured top newscast prizes, underscoring the competitive landscape of local news in the L.A. area.
