O'Connor Leads Heptathlon

Northern Ireland's Kate O'Connor has taken the lead in the heptathlon after the opening four events in Glasgow.

O'Connor is three events away from a first Commonwealth Games gold medal. The heptathlon is a seven-event competition that tests an athlete's endurance, speed, and agility.

• 100m hurdles
• High jump
• Shot put
• 200m dash

The remaining events will be held over the next two days, with the long jump, javelin throw, and 800m run still to come.
