Before The Final Step

Before The Final Step

I’ll give you a ladder. Not the ones you already have. Every ladder defines different pathways in your life.

Especially the one you're climbing so hard, one by one, higher to reach the highest point, to see the end.

You've got a wild mind, don't you? So hungry to reach the destination, yet so scared, yet trying to show bravery.

I know if you are a dreamer, then you'll never stop climbing the ladder, one after another, until you see the final stop where the last step of the ladder comes.

I want to give you another ladder which will make it a little longer.

I know you're in a rush, so desperate to feel the last step of the ladder, the one that combines all the ladders into one.

But still, I want to give you this ladder. It's the one made of wood, so traditional.

Keep the burdens aside, will you?

Come, dance a little. Let your body move. Can you see that you've got a lot of stops? Why leave them?

Don't rush. It's one life, sadly not like a video game where you get three lives in advance.

I know you've come this far by bleeding a lot. The step of the ladder you're climbing now carries all the past steps as well.

Come on, I'm not telling you to stop in the middle, but at every stop you get, dance for a while, for yourself.

Smile, cry, or blame the whole world. It deserves to be blamed.

That's the ladder I'm giving you, and I guess you've realized by now that it's not from me.

It's the one you already had but you kept skipping.

Just a Numb being, kind.
