The little girl and poverty.

Little Girl: Hi, what's your name? 
Poverty: Oh, you are asking me? 
Little Girl: Yeah, I think, I have seen you before. Your existent feels so familiar, yet, here, I am seeing you for the first time. You still didn't reply to me, what's your name? 
Poverty: Oh, my name is Poverty. At least, that's what humans call me.
Little Girl: Humm, I have a question. Why you have only one eye?
Poverty: It's because when I grasp human they only see everything with one eye.
Little Girl: What are you talking about, I don't understand. 
Poverty: You will. You told me I felt familiar to you. Do you know why? Because I was always around you.
Little Girl: Then, how come it's only today I am seeing you? 
Poverty: Because, today, I am here to take away the last thing you have left in you. 
Little Girl: So, what is it?
Poverty: It's your capability to ask for dreams and hope.
Little Girl: Why did you say it's the last thing that I have? 
Poverty: It's because ever since I met you, I started to take one thing after another from you. 
Little Girl: Oh really, how come I didn't feel it?
Poverty: Well, at first, I started with all kinds of privileges you had. Your shiny dress brought by your parents, you didn't mind it. After that, I took away the big house you lived in. You still didn't mind it because you were with your parents. After that, I started to take away the love of your parents. That worked. You were down for a while. But you woke up again. You said, you can rise again. So, that's why. I am here today to take your dreams and hope. 
Little Girl: What will happen after that?
Poverty: After that? You will never think about dreams. Your world will start shrinking. You will never see any beauty in anything. You will never ask for anything, you will give yourself in to reality. You will only survive to put rice in your stomach and that's all you will be able to care about. 
Little Girl: If you do that, how will I live?
Poverty: You won't. You will just be a living mummy.
